He was predeceased by: his parents, Sheldon D. Evans and Helen Darlene Evans (Campbell). He is survived by: his wife Cathy M. Metz; his daughter Sara M. Stone (Kevin) of Williamsburg; and his grandchildren, Colton Jack Stone and Kara Mae Stone.

Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the John K. Bolger Funeral Home, Inc. - Williamsburg (424 W 2nd St, Williamsburg, PA 16693). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.

“God Bless Bud and his family. We will miss his stories of the area as we are new to Royer Mt Road. We bought the farm that Bud's father owned at one time, back in the day. Bud loved to come around on his four wheeler, sometimes with a grandchild on his lap. He was a real storyteller and historian of the area, but when you lived here and died here that is life. He loved to garden, get firewood and just be a good neighbor. Val & Judymae Allen Cognetta”
