With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Richard D. Rutan Sr. of Williams Township, Pennsylvania, born in Easton, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 24, 2024 at the age of 69. As Richard departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Richard. Though Richard may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold C. Rutan and Eleanor Rutan (Robinson); and his brother Robert Rutan. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Liz" Rutan (Remington); his children, Richard D. Rutan, Jr. of Williams Township and Shana Rutan-Maston (Daniel) of Wilson Borough; his brother Claude Jay Rutan (Susan) of Williams Township; his sister-in-law Jill Rutan of Wilson Borough; and his grandson Nickolas Maston of Wilson Borough.
