He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Scheetz, Sr. and Marion Scheetz (Seivers); his wife Dorothy Scheetz; his daughter Beth Ann Scheetz; and his brother Oscar Scheetz, Jr..
He is survived by: his children, Gail Williams (Leslie) of Kintnersville, PA, Robert Scheetz (Laurel) of Kintnersville, PA, Marvin "Bill" Scheetz (Jan) of Walnutport, PA and John Scheetz (Ann) of Mt. Bethel, PA; his sister Emma Repp; and his grandchildren, Scott Williams, Jeremy Scheetz, Holly McKenzie, Keith Williams, Heidi Scheetz, Heather Silfies, Morgan Kominski and Dacota Scheetz. He is also survived by his eighteen great-grandchildren.
