He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Murray and Olive Murray (Wolbach); his wife Dorothy Murray (Peters); and his siblings, Walter, Eldon, Douglas Murray, Ruth Wagner, Grace Gutzweiler, Olive Kutz and Leah Mercier.
He is survived by: his children, John R. Murray, Jr. of Bethlehem, Troy Murray of Williams Township and Janet Minnich (Jeffrey) of Williams Township; his grandchildren, Alyssa Blundetto (Matthew) of Wilson Borough, John E. Murray (Stephanie) of Hoboken, NJ, Nadia Murray of Stockertown, Troy Murray (Gabrielle Garcia) of Norfolk, VA, Nicholas Minnich and Tristan Minnich of Williams Township; his great grandchildren, Jayden, Brielle and Joel Blundetto; and his brothers, Jess Murray and Dale Murray of Williams Township. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
