She was predeceased by: her husband Martin H. Muschlitz; her parents, David McCarthy and Julia McCarthy (Graf); her siblings, Russell T. McCarthy, Elsie Miller and David L. McCarthy; and her half-siblings, Joseph, William Muhr and Julia Krasley.

She is survived by: her son Ronald D. Muschlitz (Arlene) of Easton; her granddaughter Kimberly Zalewski (Thomas) of Bloomsburg; and her great grandchildren, Adam Zalewski (Hannah) of Indianapolis, IN, Eric Zalewski (Maddie) of Cincinnati, OH, Chris Kerchner (Cheryl) of Wind Gap, Jessica Kerchner, Alexis Schmoyer, Kristin Kerchner and William Kerchner. She is also survived by 7 great great grandchildren; several cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Dorothy's name to her church, 18015.
