He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry B. Claus, Sr. and Gertrude Merrick (Schall); and his siblings, Harry B. Claus, Jr. and Ida Merrick. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Claus (Murray); his children, Charles A. "Chip" Claus, Jr. of Easton, Cynthia J. "Cindy" Claus (David Tanzosh) of Wind Gap and Dracie L. Claus (Jeff Happel) of Williams Township; and his sisters, Florence Boyer (Leo) of Phillipsburg, NJ and Jean Lazarus of Lehighton.
