It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Andrew Hasenecz of Williams Township, Pennsylvania, born in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 19, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Hasenecz and Mary Hasenecz (Munda); and his siblings, Olga Doncevic, Pauline Radchuk, Anna Banash, Helen Sczemenyi, Mary Mudri, Agnes Bluder, George, Daniel, Alex, Charles and Edward.
He is survived by: his sister Kathryn Bilsak of Bethlehem.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 26th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc. (326 Main St, Hellertown, PA 18055). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Nicholas Russian Orthodox Church (980 Bridle Path Rd, Bethlehem, PA 18018). A graveside service was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Union Cemetery of Hellertown (85 Main St, Hellertown, PA 18055). A reception was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Carriage House (326 Main St, Hellertown, PA 18055).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Nicholas Russian Orthodox Church, 980 Bridal Path Road, Bethlehem, PA 18018.
