Witherspoon; her daughter Goldie Mae Canady; her granddaughter Robin Canady; her siblings, Walter Robinson, Jr., Thomas Nathaniel Robinson, Ivan Robinson, Ettabelle Selkirk and Genevia Armstrong Laura Robinson; her stepsisters, Dorothy West and Leah West; and her parents, Walter Robinson, Sr. and Rose Robinson.
She is survived by: her children, Jackie Williams Short (Herbert Short), Donna Gates McElroy (Anthony W. McElroy) and John Thomas Williams; her grandchildren, Jeffrey James, Nina James, Kim Canady, Aaron John Cristwell, Leon Gates, Jr., Darnell Gates, Carmen Marie Cristwell, Carla Marie Jones, Johnette Williams, Ebony Williams, John Williams, Jr., Joshua Williams and Jeremy Johnson; and her great grandchildren, Bisijah Jones, Adonis Jones, Nashell Gates, Lee-El Gates, Khalil Cristwell, De'Ameir Jones, Yoshira Gates and Aaron Michael Gates. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
