He was predeceased by: his parents, William Bempkins and Elizabeth Bempkins (Verdini). He is survived by: his sisters, Lisa Herchenroder (Bruce) of Niskayuna, N. Y., Gina Bempkins and Kingston; his sister-in-law Sharon Houseal (Steve); and his nieces, Shaina Rae (Joseph McDaniels), Laura Strauss (Kevin), Valerie Kramer (Ian) and Allison Waite (Thomas).
