He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Everett and Anna Davis Everett. He is survived by: his wife Charlene Vanchure Everett; his children, Colleen Flynn of Plains, William of Drums and Jaimie of Wilkes-Barre; and his siblings, Robert Everett of Plains, Ann Everett Lepore of Wilkes-Barre, Thomas Everett of Plains and Molly Everett Skrip of Wilkes-Barre. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations in William's memory can be given to the St. Jude's Children Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.

“Growing up down the street and 3 years younger than Billy Everett I was in awe of his athleticism from little league thru high school. After we won the 1966 football championship the congratulations from him while he was in the Army in Korea meant an awful lot to me. Pound for pound one of the toughest guys I ever met. Most importantly he was a nice guy.”
