With profound sadness, we say goodbye to William A. McGlynn (Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. As William departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved William. Though William may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

He was predeceased by : his parents, James McGlynn and Gertrude Metzger McGlynn; his former life partner Marie Karen Dempsy McGlynn; his daughter Shannon McGlynn; and his sister Maureen McGlynn.

He is survived by : his son Patrick McGlynn of Boston, MA; and his siblings, James McGlynn and Barbara Curtis. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends.

A memorial service was held on Wednesday, July 3rd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the St. Mary's Cemetery (1594 S Main St, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18706).
