He was predeceased by: his father Michael N. Sovan; and his brother Michael D. Sovan. He is survived by: his mother Sarah A. Gilroy Sovan; his father-in-law David Ash; and his siblings, Susan Barrett (John), Kimberly Moreno (John), Kevin Sovan (Pamela), Thomas Sovan and Eric Sovan. He is also survived by his numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
