He is survived by: his parent Sophia Trudnak Thomas; his children, Barbara Deininger, Robert S. Thomas, Paul J. Thomas (Susan), Ellen Redenski (Robert), Wilkes-Barre Reimard and Lorraine Reimard; his grandchildren, Robert Deininger, Aubrey Pearson (Michael), Robert Thomas, Diana Bodzio, Danielle Reimard and Christopher Reimard; his great grandchildren, Shane Pearson and Adelyn Thomas; and his sister Midge Domanski.
