He was predeceased by: his parents, James J. Bottger and Rita Heffren Bottger; his wife Patricia Hadvance Bottger; and his brother James J. Bottger Jr.. He is survived by: his son Robert J. Bottger Jr. (Jamie); his grandson Robert James Bottger; his sister-in-law Linda Bottger, MD; and his nieces and nephews, Lori, James, Lynn and Melissa.

Due to COVID-19, a public service for Bob will be held at a future date.
