She is survived by: her sisters, Charlene Jenkins and Shirley Walker; her granddaughter Leona Keatts; her son Maynard Keatts; her grandchildren, Brandon, Abdu-Su, Aubrey and Lenee; and her siblings, Charles Medley (Rayetta), Reverend John "Jody" Medley, Dorothy Thornton and Estelle McGoy.
