He is survived by: his sister Dr. Maryann Szostak Gromoll of Ocoee, FL; his brother-in-law Kim Walter Gromoll; his niece Nicole Marie Gromoll; his nephew Michael Walter Gromoll; his sister-in-law Claire Szostak; his nephew Patrick Szostak; his niece Kate Szostak; and his aunt Lottie Oko Magda.
