We are sad to announce that on September 28, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Mitred Archpriest Vladimir Petorak (Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania), born in Jermyn, Pennsylvania. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Matushka Elizabeth; his children, Paula Yuchnievicz (Victor), Greg Petorak (Gail), MaryEllen Higdon (Robert) and Vlad Petorak (Maria); and his family, Father Innocent Neal of Holy Trinity, Kim, Kat, Emma and Deacon Pat. He was also cherished by his nine grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 4th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Trinity Orthodox Church (401 E Main St, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18705). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 4th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Holy Trinity Orthodox Church, 401 E Main St., Wilkes-Barre, PA 18705, or Hospice of the Sacred Heart.
