He was predeceased by: his mother Shirley Ann Gibson (Edmonds); and his brother Calvin Johnson. He is survived by: his father Wilson Gibson of Wilkes Barre, PA; his children, Michael A. Gibson, Jr. of Harrisburg, PA, Lawrence Hamm of Washington, DC, Landon Gibson of York, PA, Tiara Gibson of Enola, PA, Tawanna Gibson (Dimitric Andrews) of York, PA and Alexus Gibson of York, PA; and his siblings, Jettie Johnson of Wilkes Barre, PA, Wilson Gibson, Jr. of Harrisburg, PA, Mandrel Gibson of Wilkes Barre, PA, Lavinia Gibson of Harrisburg, PA and Claudette Gibson of Harrisburg, PA.. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
Due to Covid19 restrictions, a private funeral service will begin at 11:00 a. m. on Wednesday with the Rev. Rochenda Varnes officiating.
