It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Lou Gillen of Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania, born in Carbondale, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 27, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas J. Gillen, Jr.; her parents, Martin Langan and Genevieve Smith Langan; and her brother Rev. James Langan. She is survived by: her children, Maribeth (Frank Galko) of Newton Lake, PA, Dr. Thomas Gillen (Mary Jean) of Murrysville, PA, Matt Gillen (Lori) of Kingston, PA and Mark Gillen (Joanne) of Mountain Top, PA; her grandchildren, Danny, Leah, Emma, Elizabeth, Mark and Luke; and her great grandchild Fallyn. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
