He was predeceased by: his father Edward James Degnan II; his brother Edward James "Eddy" Degnan III; and his brother-in-law Michael L. Popovich. He is survived by: his mother Marie M. Degnan (Heylek); his sisters, Patricia Popovich, Kathleen Plaviak (David) of Mountain Top, Suzanne Horn (Thomas) of New Smyrna, Florida, Marie Janosov (Robert), Alison Malenovitch (Matthew) of Parsons and Amy M. Blasco; his aunt Margaret Susa of Bethlehem; his uncle John Heylek of Wilkes; and his cousin Sokols.
