It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marilyn Mae (Banks) Suhanich of Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 15, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Banks and Mary Banks (Mooney); and her siblings, Bernard Banks, Mary Regina Buckman and Catherine Mendusky.
She is survived by: her husband Robert "Bob" Suhanich; her daughters, Deborah Ann O'Hara (John) and Donna Marie Zeyher (Lance); her grandchildren, Cory O'Hara (Gina), Christopher O'Hara (Cynthia), Andrew Zeyher, Jack Zeyher and Katherine Zeyher; her great grandchildren, Addison, Gracie, Lincoln and Amelia O'Hara; and her sister Judith Noll. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the Saints Peter and Paul Church (13 Hudson Rd, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18705). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children´s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 in Marilyn's name.
