It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leonard S. Firmanty (Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania), who passed away on January 26, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Firmanty and Helen Krupinski Firmanty; his sister Louise Firmanty Vance; his brother-in-law Anthony D. Vance; and his niece Sharon Vance.
He is survived by: his nephews, Anthony John Vance (Mary) of Virginia and Ronald Joseph Vance (Carol) of New Mexico; his great-niece Kerri Vance Wagner (Brandon) of Connecticut; his great-nephews, Anthony E. Vance, Richard Z. Vance and Michael J. Fleck; and his cousins, Debbie, Jim Gavin and Mary Kashatus. He is also survived by great-great-nieces and great-great-nephew.
