The memory of Leonard F. Benzi (Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania), who passed away on January 14, 2025 at the age of 93, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Benzi and Clelia Benzi (Leonardi); his wife Joan Mariano; and his siblings, Elmo, John Benzi, Jr. and Thelma Baluta.
He is survived by: his children, Lenore Metzger (Karl), Noelle Ruggerio (Joseph Fye) and Leonard J. Benzi; his granddaughters, Arielle Condusta (Dennis), Gianna Gaudio (Michael) and Lia Ruggerio; and his great grandchildren, Ezra Condusta and Mila Gaudio. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the Corcoran Funeral Home, Inc. (20 S Main St, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18705). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Saints Peter & Paul Church (13 Hudson Rd, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18705).
