He was predeceased by: his parents, John Benzi and Clelia Benzi (Leonardi); his wife Joan Mariano; and his siblings, Elmo, John Benzi, Jr. and Thelma Baluta.
He is survived by: his children, Lenore Metzger (Karl), Noelle Ruggerio (Joseph Fye) and Leonard J. Benzi; his granddaughters, Arielle Condusta (Dennis), Gianna Gaudio (Michael) and Lia Ruggerio; and his great grandchildren, Ezra Condusta and Mila Gaudio. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
