He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Vernon, Romayne Gernhart and Marion Ransom; his brother Sean Ransom; and his niece Leah Cronauer.
He is survived by: his parents, Donna Gernhart Ransom and William Ransom; his significant other Jean Chihany Ransom; his son Kevin Jr.; his siblings, Donna Redenski, Kathleen Ransom Burke, William, Christopher and Joe; and his sister-in-law Linda Koch.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the E. Blake Collins Funeral Home (159 George Ave, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18705). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Funeral E. Blake Collins Funeral Home (159 George Ave, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18705). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Nicholas Church (226 S Washington St, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18701).
