He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph S. and Helen Katyl, Sr. (Meister); his children, Nadine and Michael; and his sister Marie Katyl.
He is survived by: his wife Lorraine F. Katyl (Moyer); his children, Donna Butler, Robert of Dallas, David (Debbie) of Dallas, William (Cindy) of Dallas and Mark (Linda) of Dallas; and his siblings, Robert and Theresa Ann Broskoske.
