He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Stashik and Elizabeth Boynoski Stashik; his wife Bernadine; and his siblings, Bernadine, Michael and Stanley.
He is survived by: his children, Theresa Stashik, David Stashik and Michele Santuk (Michael); and his grandchildren, Alex Stashik (Brianne), Jenna Santuk and Kendra Santuk. He is also survived by friends and great neighbors.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Mamary-Durkin Funeral & Cremation Services (59 Parrish St, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St Faustina Parish (520 S Hanover St, Nanticoke, PA 18634). A burial was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at the St. John's the Baptist Cemetery (348 E Field St, Nanticoke, PA 18634).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St John's The Baptist Slovak Cemetery Association or St. Faustina Kowalski Parish Food Pantry.
