He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Magagna and Muriel Magagna; his grandparents, Wilson Jacob Hauser and Gertrude Flock Hauser; his siblings, Muriel, Peter and David Magagna; his former wife Diane Ringawa Magagna; and his children, Erica Magagna and John Flock Hauser Magagna.
He is survived by: his daughters, Diane Rebecca Sherman and Jessica Magagna Snyder (Heeyun Kim); and his grandchildren, James Wilson and Sarah Ellen Magagna. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
