He was predeceased by: his parents, Steve Bakouris and Margaret Bakouris (Strickler); and his stepdaughter Kim Patronick. He is survived by: his wife June Mack; his stepchildren, Joseph Nichols (Yvette), Plains and Sandy Williams; and his brother Paul Bakouris (Paula). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
