It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John A. Matiska of Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania, born in Fort Bragg, North Carolina, who passed away on November 2, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Matiska and Lucy Wujcik Matiska; his grandson Ethan Carle; his brother Joseph Matiska; his children, Sean Matiska, Lynn Carle, Sheri Byrd and Karen Gronchick; his sisters, Phyllis Wujcik and Marie Matiska (Nancy Bradley); and his pets, Blondie and Red.
