Joan Sura Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan Sura of Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 29, 2023 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Vincenzo Berrini and Elizabeth Berrini (Flora); her husband Nicholas D. Sura, Sr.; her son Nicholas D. Sura, Jr.; her grandson Brian Sura; and her siblings, Benjamin Berrini, Sr., Joseph Berrini, Dominick Berrini, Vincent Berrini, Arcille Rallo, Regina Alesczik and Edith Curcio.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cathy Pack (John) and Karen McHale (Sean); her daughter-in-law Barbara Sura; her sister Irene Pluskey; her grandchildren, Nicholas D. and Kirsten Malshefski (Michael); her great grandchild Jonathan Sura; her granddaughter Chloe Sura; and her niece Barbara Mullay (Saturday). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations be made in Joan's honor to: Medical Oncology Prescription Plan or Allied Hospice in Wilkes-Barre.
