It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jeanette E. Mera (Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania), who passed away on June 13, 2018, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Nicholas Lazzaro; and her sisters, Philomena Roccogrande, Mary Zalora, Katherine Scavone and Lena DeFiore.
She is survived by: her parent Eleanor Le Mardi Lazzaro; her daughter Maryann Rossi; her husband Stephen Rossi of Leesburg, VA; her grandson Jonathan Rossi of Ardmore, PA; her great grandchild Miles Rossi of Mechanicsburg, PA; her wife Tanya; and her siblings, Anthony Lazzaro, Connie Vishneski (Robert) and Angie Metzger (Sheldon). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jean's memory to Heartland Hospice, whose compassionate caregivers were a great blessing.
