He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence O'Neil and Hannah Carbohn O'Neil; his wife Maude Conklin; and his brother Ralph. He is survived by: his children, Brenda Santarsiero of Ashley, James Jr. of Ashley, William of Ashley, Edward O'Neil of Ashley, David O'Neil (Mary Beth) of Ringtown and Valarie O'Neil of Wilkes-Barre; his grandchildren, Tina, Theresa, Christina, Chantelle, Chrystal, Michael, Brianna, Brandi, Abigail Rose and Nikki Irene; his great grandchildren, Willow, Timmy, Jr., Mackenzie, Rose Marie, Lili, Tyler, Liam and Maddison; and his sisters, Hannah Thomas and Margaret O'Neil. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
