James J. Conway Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 10, 2020, at the age of 84, James J. Conway in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James K. Conway and Alice Conway (Corcoran); his siblings, Mary Eileen Williams (Donald), William Conway, Alice Morrow, Thomas and Joseph Conway; his sister-in-law Jeanne Herron Conway; and his nephews, Patrick Conway, Jr., John Remy and Christopher Cavanaugh.
He is survived by: his daughter Kelly Conway; his siblings, Bridget Komnath (Edward), John Conway, Patrick Conway, Michael Conway of Wilkes-Barre, Julia Paralis (Brendan) of Wilkes-Barre and Irene Kelly (Francis) of Plains; his siblings-in-law, Virginia Conway, Maria Conway and Gerald Cavanaugh; his nieces, Karen Haldeman and Bridget Kennedy; and his goddaughter Tracey Downey.
The Conway family would like to thank the staff in both the Critical Care Unit and the COVID-19 unit at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital, especially Dr. Melissa Taylor, and all the nurses, physicians, and physician assistants who went out of their way to keep his family connected via video chats during this difficult time of separation and grief.
