He was predeceased by: his parents, Catherine "Kay" Herbert (Early) of Scranton, PA and Robert W. Herbert of Pittston, PA; and his siblings, William (Joe), Robert, Edward, John (Buddy) and Darlene.
He is survived by: his sisters, Catherine Jones, West of Wyoming and Betty Alice Herbert; his caregiver Joan Herbert of Miners Mills; and his nieces and nephews, Cyndy, William, JoAnn, Kathi, Joe, Ron and Helenne. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, friends.
