He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick Navis and Dorothy Virginis Navis; his wife Joan Kashuba Navin; and his brothers, Francis, Robert and Thomas.
He is survived by: his children, Lisa Karchin (Dennis), Nicole Cook and Jim (Christine) of Holly Hill, FL; his grandchildren, Christopher, Ian, Zachary and Sydney; his siblings, Patrick (Nancy), Enfield, Terry (Patricia) and Dorothy Kashula (Michael); and his sister-in-law Ann Marie Navin of Bel Air, MD. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
The family request donations in Jim's name be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
