It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jack Smacher in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 12, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Smacher and Eleanor Smacher; his wife Genevieve; his son Gary; his grandson Jerard Lukachinsky; his son-in-law Gerard Lukachinsky; and his sister Ruth Prutzman (Myron).
He is survived by: his daughter Bonnie Lukachinsky; his grandsons, Jason Lukachinsky (Kara) and Jared Lukachinsky (Maggie Smith); his great grandchildren, Jase and Ellington Lukachinsky; and his sister Eleanor Jones (Lee). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
