She was predeceased by: her parents, John Ahrendts and Edna Ahrendts (May); her husband David P. Griffiths; her siblings, John Ahrendts, Luther Ahrendts, Carl Ahrendts, Ruth "Marguerite" Ahrendts Mazanec and Edna Ahrendts; her nephews, Michael Brown and Luther Brown; and her son-in-law Walter J. Straub.
She is survived by: her son-in-law Jaret Griffiths Straub of Wilkes; her grandchildren, Jill Straub Vecchio (Joshua) of Harrisburg and David Philip Straub of Wilkes; her great grandchildren, Gabriel (Gabe) and Jonathan Vecchio (Jack) of Harrisburg; and her nephew John M. Brown (Margaret A.) of St. John. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
