With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Sonny Poplawski of Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 23, 2022 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander Poplawski and Sophie Poplawski. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Klemchick; his sons, Alex (Mary Marks), George and Wilkes-Barre; his grandsons, Cory Poplawski (Natalie) and George Poplawski; his sons, Jamie Groom and Matthew Groom; his great grandchildren, Riley and Ryan Poplawski; and his sisters, Rita Urban, Patricia Mravacak (Joseph) and Helen Shubzda (Tony).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in George's memory may be given to the Dementia Society of America, PO Box 600, Doylestown, PA 18901.
