She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam Decker and Marie Abod Decker; her husband Bruno B. Makowski; and her siblings, Tony Decker, June Karpovich and Joann Lewis.
She is survived by: her children, June Galicki, Attorney Thomas Makowski (Karen), James Makowski (Laurie) and Dallas; her grandchildren, Paige, Chase, Aimee and Kendall Makowski; and her brother Gerald Decker.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Evelyn's name to the United Way of Wyoming Valley, 100 N. Pennsylvania Avenue, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18701.
