With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Elizabeth (Knutleski) Ores (Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania), born in Jenkins Township, Pennsylvania, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She is survived by: her daughter Christine Kopcho (John); her granddaughter Jonelle van Bastelaar (Sean) of Doylestown, PA; her great grandchildren, Kassie, Paul, Michael and Julie van Bastelaar; her brother Joseph Knutelski (Betty) of Morton, PA; her niece Karen Elf; her nephew Joseph Knutelski; her great-niece Alison Elf; her great-nephew Steven Elf; and her cousins, Kathryn, Ian Smith and Susan Distefano.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the St. Maria Goretti Church (42 Redwood Dr, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
