He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph McLarney and Anna Mulcrone McLarney; his siblings, Rita, Claire and Joseph; and his sister-in-law Ann McLarney Michak.

He is survived by: his sister Anna Mae Finley (Thomas); and his nieces and nephews, Thomas (Elizabeth), Kevin, Ann Marie McColligan (Bill), Patti Harvilla (Alan), Jay McLarney, Donna Pierantoni and Maureen Bilbo (Bob). He is also survived by numerous nieces, and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the St. Elizabeth Building Fund.
