He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Zawislak and Mary Siepiela Zawislak; his sons, Edward "Butch" Zawislak, Jr and Joel "Jody" Zawislak; his siblings, Helen Highouse, Lorraine Talmon and Stanley Zawislak; and his former wife Nancy Malti Zawislak.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kimberly Bell (Brian) of Hollisterville and Lori Godino (Phillip) of Scranton; his stepson Edward Strada of Hamlin; his stepdaughter-in-law Tia Corazzi-Strada; his daughter-in-law Carol Zawislak of Waymart; his sister Dorothy Melody of Honesdale; his great grandchild Rottweiller Zena; and his pet Suzie. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
