It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Mae Evans (Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania), who passed away on March 8, 2018, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Robert R.; her husband Wassil Evans; and her siblings, Robert Maharty, William Maharty, Mildred Eckenrode and Eleanor Scott.
She is survived by: her parent Minnie Davis Maharty; her children, Luanne Evans, Nanticoke, Doreen Nobel (Gary), Denise Evans, Sugarloaf Evans, David W. Evans and Gordon; and her brother Donald Maharty (Lois) of Williamsburg, VA.
