She was predeceased by: her father Walter Burgit; her husband Joseph Kopinski; and her siblings, Robert, Richard, Donald Burgit and Beverley Acuff.
She is survived by: her children, Daniel Kopinski (Mary Rose), Cindy Borowicz (Tom) of Sorrento, FL, Diane Pawlush (Larry), Miners Mills and Wilkes-Barre; her grandchildren, Amy Rothery (Jeremy), Brian Borowicz (Morgan), Amanda Zuraski (George), Dan Kopinski (Stephanie) and Taylor Pawlush; and her great grandchildren, Jacob and Aiden.
