He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Metzger and Margaret Metzger. He is survived by: his children, Matthew J. Metzger (Chelsae) and Dr. Kaileen A. Metzger (Steven); his former wife Molly Metzger; his siblings, Robert Metzger and Sandy Metzger-Shaw (Aaron); his nephew David J. Zurek; and his niece Sabrina S. Zurek.
