Dolores N. Gallia Obituary

Dolores Ann Gallia, 79, of Pittston and a former resident of Taylor, passed away Sunday February 5 at Geisinger Wyoming Valley, Wilkes-Barre Twp.

Born in Old Forge, she was the only daughter of the late Eugene and Eleanor Bukowski Gallia. In 1961, she graduated of Old Forge High School and then furthered her education at Lackawanna College. For many years, she worked as the payroll clerk at Brooks Manufacturing, and she dedicated many hours to being a caregiver not only to her family and friends. In her spare time, Dolores enjoyed bingo. Her family was the center of her life, and she would do anything for them.

Surviving is a daughter, Karla; two grandchildren, Dre and his significant other, Taylor and Jason; two great granddaughters, Luna and Nahla; Dolores significant other, Jose; a stepdaughter, Maria Esteban and her children, Zemary and Zevette Reyes; a step grandson, Tito and his children, Faith and Sebastian; a cousin, Patricia Larkin.

Dolores family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the neighbors, especially Fran, Gary and Sue who took of their time to make sure Dolores was safe and sound.
