He was predeceased by: his parent David Gwynn; his son David Gwynn; and his siblings, Thomas Gwynn, Dolores Gwynn, Catherine Prendis, Joanie Smith and Lois Krebs.
He is survived by: his parent Harriet Gwynn (Allen); his wife Donna Marie Chernowsky; his children, Wayne Gwynn of Wilkes-Barre, Rhonda Gwynn of Wilkes-Barre, Hunlock Creek of Wilkes-Barre, Barbara Derhammer (Richard) of Wilkes-Barre, Tina May (Roger) of Wilkes-Barre, Donna Soto (Edwin) of Wilkes-Barre, Ruth Twyman of Wilkes-Barre, Victoria Maslar (David) and Eugene Smith; and his siblings, James Gwynn and Peggy Gwynn.
