It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Christine Kurtek of Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania, born in Pottsville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 7, 2024, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Stephen Kurtek and Anna Kurtek (Hughes); her husbands, William (Margaret Wenner) and Richard (Anne Kurtek); and her brother Edward Kurtek.
She is survived by: her siblings, Walter Kurtek (Gail), Stephen Kurtek (Janis), Joseph Kurtek (Maureen), William Kurtek (Angela) and Patricia Zaharis; and her pets, Smudge and Fudge. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, several great nieces and great nephews, and one great great niece.
