It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Chester Wrubel (Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania), born in Nanticoke, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 28, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Wrubel and Stella Wrubel (Sklaney); his son Dennis Wrubel; and his brother Simon Wrubel. He is survived by: his pets, Dolly and Kimber; his significant other Teena Wrubel (Odro); his daughter Denise Thomas (Daniel Thomas); his grandchildren, Deanna Thomas (Joseph Shimko), Devn Thomas and Megen Banas; and his sister Carolyn Halchak (Wrubel). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Everyone attending services is encouraged to wear face coverings and follow social distancing guidelines.
