With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cheryl Lavelle of Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 23, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Paul and Winifred Vangordon Lavelle; her husband Daniel Williams; and her siblings, Harry Lavelle, Robert Lavelle, Alberta St. Clair Lavelle and Bonnie Lavelle.
She is survived by: her son Timothy Lavelle (Heather); her grandson T. J. Lavelle; her stepchildren, Daniel Williams Jr. (Christine), Jennifer Bowersox (Craig), Karen Williams and Brian Williams (Jennifer); her stepgrandchildren, Corey, Jared Hodgson, Kevin, Kyle Culver, Hailey, Kaiden, Everly and Grayson Williams; and her siblings, Larry Lavelle of Beech Creek, PA, Judy and Lori Towner Inhulsen (Jay). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Nat Gawlas Jordan Funeral Home (89 Park Ave, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 from 11:45 AM to 12:00 PM at the Wyoming Cemetery.
